Congress to demand birth certificates for strawberries.

Somehow they simply don’t get it, instead of doing her constitutional duty to insure that the office of President is held only by Natural Born Citizens as the framers of our Constitution envisioned, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn has decided to do what she and Congress do best, which is to total abandon it. She introduced House Bill 875, which calls for total record keeping of domestic food production for everyone. This bill will also effect small framers and has the potential to reach home gardeners, who would invite their neighbor over for dinner. This bill does not limit itself to interstate sale of produce. It should be noted that Ms. DeLauro’s husband works for the agro-giant Monsanto who is pushing this bill in order to control our food market. In the mean time her bill does nothing to stop the tainted food streaming into America from China and Mexico.
Also on the floor of Congress, Representative Bill Posey, R-Fla, introduce HR 1503, that calls for candidates to office of President of the United States to produce a birth certificate before being allowed to be placed on the ballot. The Congressman said, “Opponents of President Obama are raising the birth certificate issue as a means of questioning his eligibility to serve as president. This bill, by simply requiring such documentation for future candidates for president, will remove this issue as a reason for questioning the legitimacy of a candidate elected as president.” Pretty much common sense. Only thing is that Congressman Posey is demonstrating he works for the American people and not international corporations.
The Constitution demands that only a natural born citizen hold the office of President, and this same Constitution limits the power of Congress to regulating interstate commerce, but what we are seeing is the complete opposite. Congressman Posey has no cosponsors to date in a bill that is clearly required under the Constitution, while Representative DeLauro’s unconstitutional bill has 39 democratic cosponsors. Does anyone see a problem here?
People like DeLauro should be incarcerated because she is going to bankrupt small farmers, as easily as Bernie Madoff had bilked his investors. The results that will only increase the cost of our food by putting our food supply into the hands of multinational conglomerates, while she is probably reaping in bushels of Federal Reserve lettuce from the agro giants that will profit from her bill. But Congressman Posey stands alone, facing the ridicule of the Mainstream Press for doing his duty to Constitution. Keeping their oath should never be a political risky affair for anyone, while breaking that oath must be punished mercilessly. We need to support Congressman Posey and tell Congresswoman DeLauro that strawberries don’t need to produce a birth certificate, Obama does!
